I love the @Android ecosystem because of the amount of choices you have when it comes to hardware. Last month I was using the Zenfone 11 Ultra from @ASUS, the OnePlus Watch 2 from @OnePlus_USA, and the Galaxy Buds2 Pro from @SamsungMobile. You might miss a few software features by not using products from the same brand, but you don't have to compromise on any hardware aspects. Use whatever hardware you like!
Hardware freedom also equals software freedom. If I don't like the software on one device, I can just use a different device with similar hardware. And because @Android is so extensible and customizable, I might not even need to change devices to get the software to my liking.
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile it's a valid point BUT I'm more concern about missing features although it is the same platform. Partially it makes the situation worst than Apple.
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile I agree with this
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile It is good but it has a long way to go
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile Any reason why samsung can't add the open source aptXHD codec ?
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile I use Airpods Pro 2 with my all Android phones. Doesn't feel I am missing much or maybe I get almost all the features that I use (or probably got used to not having certain features not to work on Android phones when Airpods are connected)
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile Exactly my reason for using Android.
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile Unfortunately, not so much choice, all phones are almost the same, try to catch a compact phone (<6pouces) with optical zoom. There is none.
@MishaalRahman @Android @ASUS @OnePlus_USA @SamsungMobile I feel exactly the same way. Well said. Freedom of choice is always better than no freedom and no choice
