The iOS app development continues on, but is taking longer than I had expected. Most of the functionality is in place, and now I’m working on final designs. Here’s a sneak peek of an early design for the library, let me know what you think!
Mimir version 1.4.3 is now available with fixes to folder permissions, multi-episode drag ordering, and minor UI alignment issues. Thanks for reporting issues and using the app! Download the update on @Setapp and #MacAppStore
Version 1.4.2 was released today to fix an issue with folder permissions when selecting a custom save location outside of the normal sandboxed directories. This resolves issues downloading files that some users were experiencing. Now available on both #MacAppStore and @Setapp!
I'm aware of download issues when choosing a custom folder. A fix is coming soon, but in the meantime if you choose to download within the Documents, Desktop, or Downloads folders you shouldn't run into issues. If you use a custom folder, downloads might fail the next app launch.
A quick dev update–This month I've been working hard on adding iCloud sync to Mimir. This will keep your library, preferences, continuous playback settings, and Now Playing playlist in sync with all your devices! This is a big milestone for the iOS beta version progress as well.
