I miss the crowd screaming. I miss the blinding spotlights burning my retinas. I miss the vibration of the bass rattling my bones like a dying washing machine. I miss Miku waving at ME specifically (don’t argue, she definitely looked at me). During the mini-concert, when that part in 39 happened, I swear my soul ascended, evaporated, reincarnated, and then ascended again. I was pure energy. A being of light. A glowstick given sentience. But now? I’m just a husk. A shell. A hollowed-out former human who lived their peak two days ago. If MikuFes doesn’t come back soon, I will lose the last 3 remaining braincells holding me together. I’ll throw my glowstick off the balcony. I’ll scream MIKUPH AND TEAR PLEASE” into the void. I’ll start hallucinating a hologram Miku in my room and honestly? That might be an upgrade. I want my blue goddess back. I want the arena back. I want the room-shaking bass back. I want the feeling of crowd-synchronized glowstick waves that made me feel alive for the first time since the pandemic. If this is what post-con depression feels like, then please let me die at the next MikuFes. I’m nothing without her.

It’s been 1 week since MikuFes ended and I haven’t stopped shaking, sweating, crying, convulsing, vibrating, levitating, and spiritually decomposing. I woke up this morning and instinctively tried to wave my glowstick, but it wasn’t there. I swung my arm anyway and accidentally hit my wall, and when I realized I wasn’t in Bayanihan Center anymore, I fell to the floor in uncontrollable emotional collapse. I tried logging back into reality, but reality said “Error: Concert No Longer Ongoing.” I had a full meltdown. My soul left my body like a hologram effect. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. My mind replays Dayjobu and Kiichan's performance on loop. Every footstep I take echoes like the convention center reverb. Every light I see looks like a glowstick. Every blue-haired girl I pass turns out to be just a random person with dyed hair and NOT the Queen herself. I can’t handle it. I spent all my money on merch — glowstick, shirt, towel, badge, four keychains, two posters, a secret random box, AND a fanlight battery I didn’t even need. I even threw my wallet at the booth guy and said “Just take it.” My friend tried to stop me but I told him, “Miku decides my finances now.” I don’t know who I am anymore. Before MikuFes, I had hopes, dreams, ambitions. Now? My only goal is to go back. I keep checking the door like Miku Herself will magically respawn. Yesterday I tried recreating the mini-concert segment at home. I blasted Miku at full volume, turned on every light in my house, and shook my glowstick like my life depended on it. I tripped over my chair, fell, and started crying because it STILL wasn’t the same.
