#OUB329 Wk 12 I learnt that win/win outcomes may sometimes be hard to achieve through collaboration; however, by building better relationships and developing personal relationships thus, creating a common vision to overcome #competing-aims, whereby, achieving #winwin outcomes.

#OUB329 Wk11 in my #socratic-leadership role #wheelwright I actively encourage #constructive dissent; thus, creating opportunities to listen to voices of responsible followers. This aids the decision-making process whilst importantly fostering breadth for collective ownership.

#OUB329 Wk 10 I learnt that #Leadership is intrinsically a relational interdependence amidst a network of individuals (followers), some with or without the position to influence the outcome; through networking rather than traditional hierarchy. Thus, mobilising followers.

#OUB329 Wk9 Lincoln's approach to becoming an effective collaborative leader. 1. Keep your ego in check whilst achieving your goal. 2. Listen carefully to understand others' perspectives. 3. Seek win-win solutions. 4. Use "pull more than push" 5. Connect goals to larger purpose.

#OUB329 Wk9 I learnt that when working in #collaboration, collective thuggery is an acceptable behaviour in order to achieve a desired outcome. However, the politics behind such behaviour may be construed as being manipulative, especially if siloing takes place in the process.

#OUB329 Wk9 what I learnt is #collaboration is a fundamental process of building relationships and trust within a group of individuals; in order to produce a desired outcome. That's achieved through fostering growth and encouragement of all parties involved in the process.

#OUB329 WK8 I learnt that #Diversity within the workforce, when accepted; enriches an organisations net wealth through #Inclusion. In turn, it is nurtured by a supportive leader whose boundaryless style without fear fosters growth in individuals whilst inspiring others to grow.

#OUB329 What i learnt during week 7 about myself is that as a leader; my team are my wealth, so recognising their individual contributions demonstrates they are all valuable to the #Leadership of the organisation; for which, 'no man is an island'.

#OUB329 whilst studying week 7 I reflected upon the quote from #Kane (2015) 'establish your leadership by controlling the things that can affect the impression others form of you and by being aware about your leadership identity so you can change it when necessary'. True words.

#OUB329 An #inspiring leader leads by example. Therein, others duly follow out of respect and admiration.
