@brooklynnets85 Sort of similar to Brunson. The Knicks spent 3 decades trying to land a star. How many LeBron attempts? Until they finally acquired a lead guard (an engine) to build a team around. Nets should just take Acuff.

@BrooklynNetcast I agree. It’s good for the city. The Nets had their run 5 years ago. The Knicks have their moment now. If anything, I think the Knicks winning helps with those draft picks as the Knicks take the pedal off the medal from James Dolan on down.

I’m not a Knicks fan, but I’ve never seen such a one-sided officiated game in favor of the Spurs. It should be investigated by the @TheAthletic because the NBA won’t do it. The Knicks winning will sweep it under the rug, but it should be looked into. #NBA #Finals

@MichaelOnSports @scartonradio The Knicks were playing 8 on 5 as the refs clearly calling the game for the Spurs. Incredible use of the challenge, forcing the refs to see what happened, otherwise they were just looking away.

@LRubinsonWFAN @CenTexLib It was basically, let the Spurs assault the Knicks at will for the full 94 feet. Any close foul or technical foul, call it on the Knicks. The Knicks fouled Vassell’s hair. The ref watched Wemby push Mitch, then gave Mitch the tech on the return push. Just obvious.
