From a footnote in the Debt Box opinion. "though there are individual attorneys against whom imposition of attorneys’ fees and costs may be warranted, the pervasive misconduct exhibited demonstrates a pattern of organizational bad faith and broadly implicates the Commission itself—not just isolated individuals." I have never seen anything like this in my career as a securities litigator. The Judge is basically saying the SEC is rotten to the core. For what it's worth, this Judge (Robert J. Shelby) was appointed by President Obama. The quoted language is found at footnote # 284, page 40 of the opinion.

@MetaLawMan Seems like lawyers with power are becoming more and more corrupt these days
@MetaLawMan It’s astounding and disturbing. Only thing worse would the conduct being ignored by the court.

@MetaLawMan .@elonmusk I hope your eyes and lawyers are all over this.
@MetaLawMan ❓how is the person who prepares @GaryGensler's annual performance review @SECGov going to finesse this?
Acknowledging and addressing systemic issues within organizations is crucial for upholding justice and accountability. Your insight reveals a deep understanding of the complexities at play.
@MetaLawMan Sec should be forced to pay huge compensation, not just legal fees
