Hard pill to swallow when you keep showing up and you still miss out on good mints.
I bullposted PARASITES (about 6 threads) by the @thehejz and still couldn't get a WL
Entered the Raffle for @OriginalBlokyz and missed out eventually.
Am I pained? YES😂😭
Am I going to give up? NO.
Hopefully I'm able to bag Spots from @OranguNation and @hollows_nft soon🙏❤️.
Hyped NFT Alpha🧵
I'd be focusing more on mints with established communities, notable founders or genuine momentum behind them.
After spending some time researching and writing about different projects, here are the mints currently sitting on my radar. 👀

As a project, if you aren't interested in working with someone, just say it.
You don’t have to give a long explanation.
You don’t have to make excuses.
A simple “No, we’re not looking for this right now” is enough.
What I don’t understand is checking someone’s DM, leaving them on seen, and never responding.
Especially when the person took their time to reach out professionally.
Rejection is not disrespect. Silence can be.
A clear no saves both parties time and leaves the door open for future opportunities.
Let’s normalize straightforward communication. 🤝
🦧 Checking back in on ORANGU.
It’s been a while since I first wrote about @OranguNation.
A lot has happened since then, and after watching from the sidelines, I think it’s time for another look at what @ExoticRaccoon is building.
The peel definitely hasn't stopped. 🍌🧵
● One thing that has become much clearer to me:
Orangu is not just about the PFPs.
The characters are becoming the identity.
The animations, personalities and different traits are giving the Orangu world an actual sense of life instead of feeling like another static collection.
● And this is probably my favourite part.
The animations.
Seeing these characters actually move and express personality changes how you look at the project.
It makes the collection feel less like a folder of JPEGs and more like a cast of characters that could belong to a much bigger world.
● The community is also starting to notice.
Orangu is now sitting around the 10K follower mark, with the account continuing to attract attention from collectors, creators and NFT personalities.
Not saying follower count guarantees anything.
It doesn't.
But the growth is worth watching.
● And that's why I'm still watching.
Not because I know exactly where this ends.
I don't.
But because @ExoticRaccoon has continued developing the idea instead of letting the initial hype do all the work.
I've been following the slow peel from early on, and I'm curious to see what happens when the next layer finally comes off.
You just need to watch the ones that keep getting more interesting.
Orangu is still one of them. 🦧

🦧 EARLY ALPHA: ORANGU
I’ve been digging into @ExoticRaccoon lately and his new project @OranguNation is starting to look increasingly interesting.
This isn’t just another NFT account that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
There’s actually a creator worth watching here. 🧵👇
𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀.
🧵 I’ve been looking into @zec_bit lately, and I think the idea behind it is genuinely interesting.
Most NFTs come with one major trade-off:
You can see the asset, but you can also see who owns it.
■ Your wallet is public.
■ Your collection is public.
■ Your activity can be tracked.
ZecBit is exploring a different approach.
What if you could own a digital collectible without publicly exposing that you own it?
That’s the simple idea that caught my attention.
ZecBit is building an NFT ecosystem on Zcash, with privacy built into the experience.
So instead of everything being completely visible, the goal is:
● The asset can be seen and verified, while the owner stays private.
And they aren't just creating another NFT collection.
They're building the tools around it; ways for people to discover these assets, verify them, display them and eventually trade them.
That’s what makes the project interesting to me.
If they can pull that off, I think there's a very interesting ecosystem that could grow around it.
I'm still exploring ZecBit, but this is definitely one I'm keeping on my radar.
Early projects are always interesting when there's an actual problem they're trying to solve.
And I think @zec_bit has a pretty good one. 🛡️
Mint is tomorrow and I'm still hoping I can get in on the allowlist before then. 🙏🌵 @z1vex
🧵 Why we @Cynosure_D are paying attention to @zec_bit.
Most NFTs tell the world who owns them.
Your wallet is public.
Your collection is public.
Anyone can follow what you buy and sell.

ZecBit is exploring a different way.
What if you could own a digital collectible without having your entire collection and wallet history exposed?
That’s the idea behind ZecBit.
They’re building an NFT ecosystem on Zcash, a network known for giving users stronger privacy.
The goal is simple:
■ See the asset.
■ Verify that it is real.
■ Keep the owner private.
But ZecBit isn't stopping at creating NFTs.
They are building the necessary tools to ensure that these private NFTs actually work.
We are especially interested in being early to the community.
Not just for the Genesis.
But to watch, and hopefully contribute to what gets built around it.
Private ownership. Public culture.
That’s a thesis we @Cynosure_D can get behind.
If you don't mind @zec_bit, we'd love to kindly request for some allowlists for Cynosurians to participate in the upcoming mint.

I Saw It: @TheRIFTNFT_ Got Me Curious
I saw a post about @TheRIFTNFT_ yesterday and had to look it up because it was giving me La Brea vibes straight away.
Not in the “there’s a giant hole in the ground” sense, but that same feeling of normal life getting interrupted by something nobody can properly explain. You see it happen, you know it’s real, and suddenly the world is bigger and stranger than it was five minutes ago.
The story so far is simple: something crossed over. People came into contact with it. They were still themselves afterwards, but they weren’t exactly the same anymore. Whatever they met became part of them, and there’s no going back.
The lore on the website didn't really say much, we just know there are 2,222 characters who were changed, but we don’t know what the Rift is, where it came from, or why it chose them. That leaves room for the art to do some of the talking.
Some of the characters look marked by something celestial. Some feel almost mythical. Others just look like they’ve seen something they can’t put into words. It gives the collection a shared story without making every piece feel like the same person in a different outfit.
Really loved the idea so far and I think this one's worth keeping an eye on. There’s still a lot they haven’t shown, but the idea is already there: 2,222 people carrying proof that something crossed over.
I saw it.
🧵 ALPHA NOTICE: CRITTERBLOC 🐾
Another project we're keeping on our radar:
@CritterblocNFTs
The concept, artwork and direction caught our attention, and I think this is one worth watching before it gets too much attention.
Still early, which is exactly when I like to find these.
Do your own research, but definitely keep Critterbloc on your watchlist. 👀
I've written about @OriginalBlokyz before, and now we're almost at the main event.
Their 10,000 Original Blokyz collection is going live on Ethereum tomorrow, August 27.
For those who missed my previous thread, Blokyz has already built collectibles around major Web3 IPs, while Original Blokyz represents their own original universe and long-term IP.
The public sale will be through a fair raffle, with 7,500 pieces (75% of supply) available to the public.
• 10,000 supply
• 0.03 ETH mint
• 7,500 public raffle spots
• 2 PM UTC tomorrow
No tasks. No gas wars. No bots.
I've been watching this one for the mix of original IP, lore, physical collectibles and their existing Web3 partnerships.
Going to be participating in the Sale tomorrow by the special grace of God.
I hope we are able to Secure a BLOKYZ❤️🌵
The Blok is about to open. 🧱
ALPHA ALERT 🧵 — ORIGINAL BLOKYZ
I've been watching @OriginalBlokyz and this is one of those projects I think will do extremely good and has been gaining lots of tractions.
Here's why I'm watching it closely:
Blokyz isn't trying to be another generic PFP collection.
The
🧵 PARASITES: Why I’m still paying attention to @thehejz 🦠
The first time I wrote about PARASITES, I was mostly drawn to the concept.
A collection of digital organisms representing the things that quietly feed on us every day.
Our attention.
Our time.
Our data.
Our emotions.
Our money.
Even our hope.
But after going back through what @thehejz has been building, I think the project is becoming much more interesting.
● PARASITES is a 555-piece fully on-chain animated collection coming to Ethereum.
Each piece belongs to one of six protocols:
👁️ Attention — 150
⏳ Time — 140
💾 Data — 110
❤️ Emotion — 90
💰 Financial — 45
🌅 Hope — 20
And each protocol has its own distinct visual identity and animation style.
There is also a unique 1/1 inside every category.
● One thing I really like is the way the final supply is being curated.
This isn't simply a case of pressing generate and calling everything that comes out the collection.
The artist creates a much larger number of pieces and then manually selects the final 555.
Those exact versions are then locked for mint.
For a generative collection, that human selection process matters.
It means the final output has an actual filter behind it.
● Then there is the on-chain aspect.
No IPFS.
The artworks are stored directly on Ethereum and generated from an on-chain seed.
More importantly, they aren't just static images.
They remain permanently animated.
So the permanence of the collection isn't only about ownership.
The movement itself is part of what is being preserved.
● My original thesis still stands.
PARASITES isn't interesting because it promises utility.
It is interesting because the concept is clear, the art has a distinct identity, and the artist is actually putting thought into the permanence and presentation of the collection.
And now, with the mint approaching and the collection entering its final stages, I think this is one to keep on the radar.
September 3rd. 🦠
The parasites are almost ready.
I still don't have a spot yet.
I hope @thehejz would sincrely consider me.
