Today is the 109th anniversary of the death of #FrankStites. Learning about his life has been so cool to me. In learning about him, has helped me to learn more about the history of #LosAngeles and the history of the film industry. Every time I feel that my research reaches a dead end, a new rabbit hole appears. I have made a memorial collage on my refrigerator dedicated to Stites/#TerrorTram (Log Bunny lives on top of the fridge when he's not at Universal). Ever since, stuff around the fridge will randomly fall. This has been happening ever since I have been researching him. The other day, my glasses fell off the counter. I always have a neutral feeling when this happens and nothing has ever broken. I consider it a reminder of someone who doesn't want to be forgotten. When I see our current technological advances with robotics, space flight, autonomous cars, etc: we have pioneers like Stites to thank for that. He would have LOVED to have seen all of it!✈️👨✈️👻✨ RIP FRANK STITES 1882-1915 FrankStites.com #aviation #universalstudios #universalcity @john_murdy
