.@CNN covered our win against the FDA. Like Newsweek and MedPage Today, they asked FDA for a comment but not us. But at least they covered it. @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 cnn.com/2024/03/27/hea…
@MdBreathe @kattitfortat @CNN @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 Congratulations doc. I haven’t formally said as much, nice win. Maybe, more to come.🤞🤞🤞I’ve said it before, u are a badass. In a good way.
The statement from FDA in this article says that it has “not admitted any violation of law or any wrongdoing, disagrees with the plaintiffs’ allegation that the agency exceeded its authority in issuing the statements challenged in the lawsuit, and stands by its authority to communicate with the public regarding the products it regulates...FDA has not changed its position that currently available clinical trial data do not demonstrate that ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. The agency has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19.” It sounds like they're claiming to have not said or done anything wrong and to have not changed their stance on authorization or approval of ivermectin for Covid. It's like an apology that's not an apology, or "Okay, I'll quit saying you're wrong—but you're wrong!" Do you think pharmacies that haven't been fulfilling ivermectin prescriptions will change their behavior, or just cling to this same message that "the FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19"?
@MdBreathe @CNN @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 Reprehensible
@MdBreathe @CNN @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 The number one way the media influences us is by what they choose not to cover. I think that’s a @dangainor quote (or close to it).
@MdBreathe @Covid19Critical @CNN @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 Are there any lawsuits about Remkillisvir yet?
@MdBreathe @Nuni_Sas_Yu @CNN @drpaulmarik1 @RobertApter1 Thanks for fighting!
