One of the most unrealistic body standards shown in movies is people who are super ripped with six packs but they’re alcoholics who are constantly eating cheeseburgers *cough brad Pitt in every movie cough cough*
@ClaireMax Me as a kid wondering how Dean Winchester was as ripped as his healthy food, salad loving brother even tho all he consumes is beer, pie and burgers.
@Blogs2Chris @ClaireMax Dean and Star Lord are the two biggest "How the heck to they look like that considering their lifestyle?" characters I know
@Mavakor @Blogs2Chris Star lord is half god at least so he as “not totally human” excuse Dean at least starts out as human and mostly remains such
@ClaireMax @Blogs2Chris I guess but I'm still not a fan of the MCU's need for everyone to have that body type even though it makes no sense. Looking at you, Ant-Man
@Mavakor @Blogs2Chris BIG LOOKING AT YOU, ANT MAN At least they let non-hulk Bruce look like just a guy. But he’s kinda the only one
@Mavakor @Blogs2Chris Listen, I have major beef with how *every* woman in the MCU has the exact same body type (skinny)
@ClaireMax @Blogs2Chris It is way worse for women characters (and the actresses who play them) so I'm not going to argue at all. Wonder Woman especially should be really buff
@Mavakor @Blogs2Chris Wonder Woman should absolutely be jacked as hell but she’s skinnier than every one of the other amazons. Make it make sense
@ClaireMax @Blogs2Chris I just wish that movie characters were allowed to look like they should look. Let Logan be short and stocky, let Diana be tall and shredded, let Star Lord be cute and chubby
