I should've posted this with a video, so I also got Claude to make one to illustrate it.
One of my favourite things about Claude is that it will figure out all of the weird Roblox quirks for you, e.g for precise UI placement you need to rotate the element otherwise Roblox will force snap it. Why is this even a thing?!
@asimo3089 Yep if you already know (roughly!) what you're doing then it can be really useful for finding efficiencies or solutions that you hadn't thought of.
It found this out by researching posts on the dev forum - apparently it is completely undocumented behaviour on Roblox's end.
@behnamrezaei Hey! It won't let me DM you, but I can say more here. I was advertising to test out CTR on a bunch of new thumbnails. About 2h after I started it spent 15 (/20) credits in 10 minutes and massively spiked CCU. It has been more normal since. Game: roblox.com/games/94729734…
I see the Roblox ads team still hasn’t solved the issue where it will randomly spend your entire daily budget in less than 10 minutes
@ivanvoronvk I think I’ve been around long enough to know how ads work. This behaviour is a bug of the “new” system they still haven’t fixed.
@PE_Spathi I thought I had read somewhere that they had stopped doing this because blood is allowed on the content maturity rating. So many mixed messages! But if blood isn’t allowed why aren’t they stopping the prompt from generating! Not well thought through!
The Roblox texture generation thing is so dumb. Claude was using it and then both textures got deleted because they contained gore (yeah, like a tiny bit of cartoonish blood) Why are you letting me generate these images in the first place! Lots of games have blood textures!
The reason this is annoying is because Claude was working off a reference image and I didn't know it had used "blood" in the prompt. Why are Roblox even accepting that in the prompt if it's just going to lead to the generations being deleted? What idiot built this pipeline!
I mean, maybe it's not quite as bad as the fact I've only JUST started being able to cash out at the 0.0038 rate, a YEAR after it was announced as though it was immediate. That was a borderline scam
Not seen anyone mentioning this. This is incredibly egregious. A pure cash grab.
This is complete nonsense of course because this is a long tailed distribution. The top 10 skew the average for everyone else. I very much doubt even the 500th dev is making > $1m. Probably closer to $500k
Roblox’s top 10 creators earn an average of $65.7 million each At RDC 2026, Roblox revealed its top 1,000 creators earn $1.4 million a year on average
Company struggling with quarterly earnings decides to launch financial product. Are they dumb?
Introducing Roblox Wallet, a new way for Roblox creators to receive real payouts at the end of each day and transfer it to their bank accounts. With the Roblox Card launching next year, creators can spend their earnings at places that accept the card.
This game is a slop clone of Last Letter, five seconds of background checking would have told you this guys
@EvanZir One of the big issues seems to be you are forced into converting robux every day. I know a lot of devs keep large robux balances so they don’t have to pay tax until they choose to withdraw it. Now they have no choice
Feels like announcing AI actors at the Oscars
i.e if Roblox have made a system that identifies something that is miles away from being "gore" as such, then what other crap are the engineers there shoveling out (a lot, hence -70%)
This reminds me someone got the Obby Royale thumbnail taken down for "violent content and gore" for about 20 minutes in May. You wonder why Roblox stock is down 70% when they have such high quality content moderation.
Roblox has begun rolling out a new Account Status page that shows recent rule violations, and how close you may be to a permanent ban as a result. roblox.com/safety-dashboa…
