However, the default gateway is configured as 192.168.2.1, which is on a different subnet. Because of this: The workstation can communicate with devices on its local network (192.168.1.0/24).

As a beginner, what can I do to fasten my learning? Is it by getting a junior role? Short answer: Yes, but that's not the full picture. A junior role (SOC L1, IT support, help desk) is GOLD. 🔥 Why? · Real logs > labs · Real incidents > theory · Real pressure > practice BUT, you don't need a junior role to start fast-tracking today: ✅ Build a home lab (VirtualBox is free) ✅ Do TryHackMe or HTB daily (30 min) ✅ Read actual breach write-ups ✅ Document EVERYTHING you learn (Twitter/LinkedIn/blog) ✅ Break things on purpose, then fix them Junior role accelerates you. But discipline + curiosity can get you there even before the offer letter. Don't wait for the job to start learning like you already have it.
