I started a new ritual where we go to the springs every Sunday morning (yes we're heading there now) and after I get out of the crystal clean springwater, I spritz my hair with a homemade moisturizing spray, oil up in the sun with a homemade castor oil based moisturizer , and then comb my waist length locks in the sun with a sandalwood comb until they dry. People keep asking me what I do to my hair and really it's just nothing but nature.
@evie_ @Bobbyhugz @_wej01 The truth is it's always both. I coached men privately for over 10 years on childhood trauma, including sexual trauma, and their stories were just as bad as ours. They're just quieter about it due to the stigma and social conditioning/humiliation.

If it makes you feel better to dismiss the experience of the many women who feel completely differently than you, then go right ahead. But it's definitely not nonsense. I can trace every single bit of hardship and horrible things that happened to me in my life to not having protective masculine containment.

This was my grandmother's specialty : biscuits and chocolate gravy. She always made it when all the grandkids came to visit and we'd eat a plateful of it and be wired all day. Personally, I would never feed it to my children, but it does bring back memories. She was originally a poor farmer's daughter from Alabama. I never knew anything of the history of this ridiculously sugary breakfast- just the childhood memories that my cousins and I shared.

All the conservative men I know are super protective and reverent of women. The leftist men I know are constantly spewing misogynistic nonsense and have never done one thing to actually protect women or children. When I hear this kind of rhetoric, it tells me that you really don't have a diverse group of people that you interact with in your life.
Female ≠ Feminine I was raised with neo-Marxist programming so I was raised to be masculine and up until about a decade or so ago, I had no clue. this is why I predominantly attracted emasculated men who looked to me for everything (leadership, dominance, decision-making, financial dependence, etc. I was completely fine. (or so I thought) until I became a mother, and I realized we are not biologically equal. And it was at that point in time that I realized, unquestionably, that I needed far more support, masculine containment, provision, and protection than I received. I finally understood why I was so exhausted, depressed, and why I became so sick in my marriage I'm glad you and your husband seem content. But if you don't know what feminine traits are, then chances are you probably live mostly in your masculine.

Also, my comment had nothing to do with nerdiness. I can rock with nerds. But no one could even pay me millions of dollars to be with another emasculated leftist man. Never again. It made me sick (adrenal fatigue), it made me broke, I felt exhausted and I lost attraction to him almost immediately. And that's not a relationship I ever want to ever be in again.
