@MarkSteynOnline there was something similar in US response to Douma "chemical" incident in 2018 (separate from whether Douma was jihadi false flag.) US launched a bunch of missiles against Syria, taking care not to hit Russian base in Syria. Impact was negligible, but satisfied media
@MarkSteynOnline I’m grateful for your analysis, Mark. I caught a glimpse of what was happening last evening in X and I thought this isn’t going to ruin my night with my family. War powers gonna war and they all like it that way. And they use the media to keep us living in fear. Jesus is Lord.
@MarkSteynOnline Thank you what great writing, as always
@MarkSteynOnline Interesting take but wrong. Iran didn't expect Israel AD to be so good. It surprised everyone, even Israelis. Arrow III had never faced a barrage of IRBMs (only 2 singles). Much smaller drone/missile barrages by Russia very effective.
@MarkSteynOnline End result is that Israel has nothing to fear and can attack Iran at will. Only obstacle to kinetic regime change is "allies" fear of high oil prices and interference in maritime trade. Tension is because these things are not important to Israel.
@MarkSteynOnline It’s always such a treat to hear from Steyn. I miss his regular appearances terribly. He is the obvious heir to Rush, a spot we so sorely need to have filled, but sadly he has been mostly sidelined by a force from another place. As usual, a great read.
@MarkSteynOnline Hopefully netanyahus latest attempt to foment WW3 will come to naught.
@MarkSteynOnline Iran aimed to deter future Israeli attacks on IRCG murderers. But instead it revealed that its huge, expensive, long range missiles have a 50% failure rate and are too inaccurate to be militarily useful (hits on open areas inside bases rather than valuable targets).
