Mercury is majority owned by govt. As are Meridian & Genesis. Transpower is the company that runs the national grid. It is 100% owned by govt. All up govt owns around 85% of NZ's power producers.

Michael Laws is 100% correct. This entire 3 Waters, Water done well nonsense was triggered by the Havelock North incident in 2016, when heavy rain flushed sheep shit into bore water. "What were you adults thinking?" The NZ under 10 yrs education curriculum has had climate change removed. It will no longer be taught as a specific subject. Waikato University Education Professor Chris Eames objects to this, and says today's children will be critical of this decision once they become adults themselves. In actuality scare mongering around the myth of man caused climate change is causing serious mental harm to children (and adults) as the video I will post in the comments below will show. IMHO it shouldn't be part of education above year ten either. In fact the govt should go even further and consider cutting the taxpayer funding it provides to Waikato University too. Time this destructive and dangerous medieval superstition was expunged from society completely.
