@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Yes, some men though. From experience, The father to my son used to be so concerned through out pregnancy and after delivery. He used to accompany us during the ANC visits and PNCs. I hope he still does, yes, hope because things went south between us 😂😂
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Some do, while some don't. 1. Some men always think that it's up to women to go for ANC 2. Society issues like when a man helps a woman he is tagged as 'amekaliwa chapo' 3. We cannot rule out the high rate of teenage pregnancies of which most men are absent in such periods
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Few of men do so. So.i think its good for civic education to be put on men, so as to be always there for their pregnant partner
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Father's who are more concerned with their families yes they do, A healthy is a happy family.
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya It is our responsibility...
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya 1/2 Yeah some support, but others don't, not that they refuse to,but a huge number of men out there do not have the required background information about Antenatal clinic and how important it is,we have oftenly highlighted how young pregnant mothers fail to seek Antenatal clinics
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Yes, by share responsibilities: Pregnancy can bring physical discomfort and fatigue. Men do take on household chores or other responsibilities to alleviate her workload. By lightening her daily responsibilities, through this allow her to prioritize her health.
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Thirdly, men do provide emotional support as Pregnancy can be an emotional journey, and support plays a vital role. Listening actively to her concerns, fears, and joys. This offers a non-judgmental and understanding ear, and reassure her that you are there for her.
@MalariaYouthKE @GlobalFund @MalariaNoMoreuk @DNMPKenya @beatmalaria @Amref_Kenya @MalariaNoMore @EndMalariaKenya @ALMA_2030 @WHOKenya @MOH_Kenya Yes some do others don't depending on some factors.
