Well past time for adults in dugouts to be adults. Huge difference between fun/energy & spewing absolute garbage aimed at opposing players/coaches. This nonsense should not be normalized. It’s completely fake & does not exude toughness. It’s easier to allow rather than stop.
@Maciejewski24 This is what should separate us from AAU Basketball. Baseball is NOT THE SAME! Coaches that allow this are losers…..should not coach. I have had kids that have said things from our dugout and I have shut it down and/or thrown them out of dugout. No need for it!
@Maciejewski24 I hate it, if you’re not rooting for your guy - keep your mouth shut
@Maciejewski24 Had the same problem with an opponent last week. See this far to often in todays game
@Maciejewski24 I saw a video of coach pitch & a mom screaming multiple times "he doesn't want to swing". Disgusting. Why would her coach or another parent stop that? Or the umpire? As a coach, my worst comment of an opponent was to say "throw it in there and see how far he can hit it".
@Maciejewski24 A lot of gutless/bush league folks patrolling dugouts
@Maciejewski24 Good to see I’m not the anomaly.. have a hard time with coaches who don’t correct this issue.. my players get talked to when i hear anything that is even borderline questionable.
@Maciejewski24 Absolutely truth. Time for real Coaches (and parents) to step up and lead in a positive/respectful way.
@Maciejewski24 Baseball taught my teammates and I valuable life lessons, from the best player on the team to the worst, because the coaches set clear expectations about how we were to conduct ourselves and why. Whether you like it or not, you're always representing your family, school, town...
