The new X-Band radar at @millersvilleu was undoubtedly of great assistance to the @NWSStateCollege and @NWS_MountHolly in issuing Snow Squall Warnings yesterday. The @climavision gap-filling radar can “see” the snow squalls in these areas due to the beam not “overshooting” them.

@MUweather @millersvilleu @NWSStateCollege @NWS_MountHolly @climavision Even though I didn't have an official snow squall warning here, there were some pretty gusty snow showers that pushed through yesterday, the one didn't have a special weather statement or a warning on it yet it looked and felt like a snow squall. What a day yesterday!
