@NeetChanMAIN I have heard this and it is my greatest complaint with XIV’s gameplay. XI is great because every job is immensely unique and conditional. XIV homogenizes every job within its three main archetypes into simply “do your rotation and dodge enemy attacks”. It’s not enjoyable!

Not playing because it’s an MMO is crazy. I have 500+ hours in the game and I can confidently tell you it sucks and you shouldn’t play it on the basis of it being a miserable experience.

Played it. Not very impressed. The absolute last thing I want in a game thats trying to be a single player MMO, is soulslike combat with a stamina meter. Would highly recommend these instead.

there was a time where you didn't 'queue for a match', you opened server browser and found 24/7 cs_crackhouse or de_hydro and played until you decided you were done, and i really do firmly believe this was a better system than matchmaking as a standard
