There's been a sense of anxiety around every USMNT match for a long time. It's relief when we win, frustration when we lose. It's felt like a long, slow climb. Now, we're at the point where this Saturday is about putting our best foot forward and we have nothing to lose.
The last time I felt this way about a USMNT match is when we got to the Copa America semi-finals in 2017. We had no business trying to beat Argentina, but it was a great accomplishment to get there. I'd like to see our guys play with freedom and confidence this weekend.
@MLS_Buzz I have a much different out look. I think we have to win Saturday and knock out a big Euro country in order to give us living hope that we can win on home soil in 26.
@MLS_Buzz We should absolutely go for it. Free roll. If we lose, let’s lose trying to be our best. We have a chance to announce ourselves on the world stage.
@MLS_Buzz @kickswish Gonna be lit when we beat the Netherlands by like 5 goals!!!!
@MLS_Buzz Putting our best foot forward means playing Gio Reyna.
