UNC next in line to file suit against the ACC-UVA not far behind. When the dust settles Yormark expects B12 to be 24 teams deep. Playoffs will eventually be at 16 teams with 5 bids each to SEC/B10, 3 for B12, and 3 for the rest.

Merger talks have cooled. Looks like ACC is going the way of the Pac. If SEC and B10 break away does that make B12 the king of nothing?? Hint: it doesn’t. B12 will be part of a breakaway if it occurs.

Sorry for the long absence. Back to share this: NC State and Virginia Tech have reached out to B12 with interest in leaving the ACC to join. Hearing they have been told no thanks by the B10 and SEC. BY trying to secure pro-rata for up to 4 more additions.

My first post of 2024…lots of smoke continuing to build on a possible merger of ACC/B12/Pac with a knock out “benefactor”. FSU on the clock: Expected to announce their intentions to leave ACC by the end of the month possibly for the 2026 football season-I’ll have more soon

Hearing Kliavkoff will be fired with cause as early as January 2nd. Oliver Luck could be named as an interim CEO to help guide PAC through next steps in rebuilding/merging.
