Our second weekly research showcase featured our newest member, Lewis Melvin. He presented the work he did before starting his PhD on micro-swimmers that use phoretic micro-fluidic reactions.
In our first weekly research showcase of the academic year, we have Valeria Ciccone, a 2nd year PhD student at our group presenting her progress on studying the clogging of soft capsules in order to model Sickle Cell Disease.
