The impact of health inequalities in emergency care, and the launch of @EMAtTheDeepEnd, in today's @Sunday_Post. With poorer access to care and greater severity of illness, Emergency Departments have a key role in mitigating the harms of social deprivation.
In the middle of a crisis in emergency care, there is still a role to advocate for the most vulnerable, deliver meaningful intervention, and support this with high-quality research. Groups like @MAVscotland demonstrate the potential @cruncherwax @deependgp @Janmacd @Jploughrey

Grateful for the opportunity to bring the reality of health inequalities in emergency care to a wider audience. While standing outside the flat in scrubs has its discomfort, advocating for these issues will be vital if we've got any hope of creating meaningful change.
