Dr. Joseph Warren, a major general in the American Revolutionary War, championed smallpox inoculation and active involvement in obstetrical care, but was a soldier as well as a doctor. He is the only known person to have had some part in the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the ride of Paul Revere, the battles at Lexington and Concord, and the Battle of Bunker Hill, where he was killed. bit.ly/48YA3r6
