Most stablecoins ask you to trust that $1 is really $1. USDL doesn't. Any holder can redeem it for exactly $1 of collateral at any time, pulled from the least-backed vault in the system. That's what puts a hard floor under the price. If USDL ever trades below a dollar, redeeming it becomes free money, and arbitrage drags it straight back to peg. The floor isn't a promise we make. It's a trade anyone can take.

The Stability Pool holds the most overlooked yield in the system. When a vault drops below 150%, the pool closes it - burns USDL to cover the debt and takes the collateral in return. → Deposit USDL into the pool → It absorbs the liquidations → You get that collateral at ~10% under oracle price That discount is your yield.
