Anthony Blinken even boasted about it in a talk for AIPAC: "My grandfather, Maurice Blinken initiated a report before independence that argued that a Jewish state was indeed possible....that report helped convince many skeptics, including within the United States Government."
@Lowkey0nline Certainly Maurice's 1946 "[rebuttal of] a British white paper that contended Palestine could not economically support a large immigrant population" had no impact on Washington, Adams, Harrison, McKinley, Hoover, and Roosevelt, and probably little on Truman if he saw it.
