A very experienced journalist said that Kuenssberg was “not rated” by her colleagues, and had built her role around just repeating “whatever Dominic Cummings told her” Laura’s Time as BBC Political Editor has been a catastrophic, systemic failure bylinetimes.com/2022/03/30/lau…
This was problematic, primarily because – for the first time in my lifetime – the Prime Minister and those around him lied unashamedly. And they lied, knowing that their dishonest version of events would be repeated by Kuenssberg.
@LouisHenwood @popsandcookse I briefly listened to BrexitCast. Or Newscast. I can’t remember which. But it was filled with LK reading out the contents of her WhatsApps whilst the fanboys masquerading as co-presenters told her how amazing she was. She ain’t no John Cole.
@LouisHenwood I find Kuessberg's questioning annoying. She concentrates often on trivial matters, trying desperately to get that gotcha soundbite, to the detriment of a fuller understanding of a situation. Victoria Derbyshire would do much better.
@LouisHenwood Brexit: 🙁Just when we needed a leader we had Cameron 🙁Just when we needed an opposition we had Corbyn 🙁 just when we needed truth we had Johnson 🙁Just as we needed good journalism we had Kuenssberg
@LouisHenwood @Thebookwasbett4 The damage this circus has done to the UK and the world is probably irreparable
