Had one of my favorite calls yesterday, a founder telling me he wants @LookingGlassCap to lead his round. That feeling never gets old, and, at a time when VC feels increasingly transactional, I'll never take for granted the trust he is placing in the firm to be one of his earliest partners.
"I point to the things that I feel like are going to be the likely outliers in the portfolio, and provide the underlying metrics and traction as to why I believe that.
