@LombaKitchen @nit_set 5. Almost all are men, racing through the crowded streets of Delhi on bikes to meet tight deadlines. Therefore, thank you, Lomba, for charging the actual delivery price – and of course, for the great food :-).
@LombaKitchen @nit_set 4. Recently, I inquired with a delivery person about the electric scooter charges, and he said it amounted to ~Rs. 1200 per week for some 750 Kms or so from a rental kiosk, a portion of which he had to cover personally.
@LombaKitchen @nit_set 3. You seemed to have included it in the final price and that is commendable. As a consumer, I can “afford” the so-called “competitive” prices of the Zomatos, Swiggys, Blinkits, or Zeptos of the world regularly, and I cannot afford Lomba and the likes.
@LombaKitchen @nit_set 2. who is able cover the non-journalist fees, which we believe is totally fair. Apart from the food, what I particularly appreciated was that I seemed to have paid the full delivery price, unlike other food delivery services where hidden costs burden the delivery workers.
