My only issue with imax is that for some fucking reason nobody has ever thought to release 16:9 and 4:3 versions once it's out of theatres. The only way you can see the full complete movie is by catching it in one of a handful of cinemas within a window of a couple months.

a movie shot for imax would look bad projected at 1.43 on a normal size screen. it's not a moral issue that you can't see a movie a particular way. imax is a cool format that's worth seeing sometimes. we are shutting down all further discussion on these issues NOW.
