Every single person who doesn’t believe in Covid, or wearing masks needs to be forced to watch season 17 of Greys Anatomy. My husband got sick at the beginning of Covid, and I wasn’t able to be with him much of the time. I’ve been crying all day reliving it.
And as if that wasn’t enough, four years ago today Jim had his brain surgery to remove 8 tumors. I couldn’t be with him. Not before or after. It broke me in ways I’ll never recover from. So for those of you who still refuse to believe the damage Covid has done, fuck you!
@Lindas_Here We will never forget Jim, not in a million years 💙
@LizaBrings I can’t tell you what your words mean to me 💔 Thank you for remembering not just him, but all of those affected by Covid. Those lost, the families left behind who didn’t get to say goodbye. And especially those who worked tirelessly on the front lines. #NeverForget
@Lindas_Here Linda, your and Jim’s story is permanently etched in my mind when I think of the misery and trauma of CoVid. But what stands out even more is the love you had for each other. It was a tragedy that should never have happened.
@LizaBrings I feel him around me every day. There’s a certain time every night where the scent of his aftershave washes over me. Or something brushes against my arm when I’m lying in bed reading. Or our song will play. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but he’s never far away from me. 💔
