Fuming Brits threaten to boycott Spain over new £97 'daily rule' for tourists The new rule has been brought in by Spanish lawmakers requiring tourists to prove they have €113.40 on hand every day if they visit. It applies to both the mainland, and its archipelagos the Canary and Balearic islands. mirror.co.uk/news/world-new…
@LizWebsterSBF The sort of Brits looking to boycott Spain are exactly the sort of Brits that Spain doesn’t want
@LizWebsterSBF Despite protestations from leavers that they're not racist, ultimately Brexit was driven by British arrogance & entitlement. In their minds, The Spanish should be greatful we deign to visit them: here's a prime example of what they pretend to believe vs what they really think
@LizWebsterSBF They’ve always got Blackpool 😬
@LizWebsterSBF Does that have to be in cash? We usually go for 2 weeks, that would be 1587.60€. I carry that much cash on me, but have access to our bank account and credit cards. We usually take 500€ and rarely spend it all. That seems an outrageous amount to me. Is that per person?
@LizWebsterSBF United States uses this rule. Do you have enough money for the period of your stay. It's not hard and it's not just Brits.
