@LiveLawIndia Till now FM US envoy is monitoring the trial for fair ruling which again had been condemned by the center stating as an internal matter. How could it be an internal matter when the rulings proceedings, whether financial or criminal are interconnected amidst the @CIJ_ICJ rulings
@LiveLawIndia No wonder Justices Abhay S Oka and Pankaj Mithal are no longer assigned PMLA cases!
@LiveLawIndia 👍👌👍 @dir_ed would have been ruthless tormentors if #SupremeCourtofIndia don't intervene.
@LiveLawIndia Looking at the current regime gross misuse of PMLA, hon Supreme court had now began to gradually scrutinise each section against fundamental rights & I am sure as it start to dissect PMLA , the draconian sections either will be void ab-initio or rendered toothless.
@LiveLawIndia ED is exoected to confine to scheduled offence. Can bribery charge be tried under pmla.
@LiveLawIndia Dear Supreme Court: please disband ED(Extortion Dept) for these 3 months time. Barred them to arrest anybody or file any case. They are and will file fake cases and make fake narratives to support BJP. That is not level playing at all and violate our democratic rights
@LiveLawIndia Even though it’s a little victory, but still significant for the people & also for opposition parties else given the current election mode & Narendra Modi’s fear of losing Loksabha Elections 2024 badly, ED would have gone berserk against opposition to destabilise it.
