No coincidence, @pjfoot1859. Proud to have played football alongside Peter Weightman, the father of my current ageless marathon champ @LisaWeightman. Interestingly, Peter and I both went on to coach the Preston Bullants @NBullantsFC in later years, a club with a great tradition.

When your fit, you're fit...@LisaWeightman rolls out a 2:28 Beijing marathon for 4th, after a last minute (or week anyway) decision to back up after her 2:24 in Berlin 5 weeks before. Sure, super shoes do help, but not bad resilience, eh?
The lookstudy.com.au RCT introduced quality PE bluearth.org into public schools. By grade 6 it had improved the (20%!) prevalence of elevated blood risk factors for CVD and T2D in typical Aussie kids; and NAPLAN scores as well! PE is medicine for body and mind.

The #Tokyo2025 marathon course was unveiled today. The start and finish will be at Japan National Stadium, a reversal of the recent trend to de-couple the marathon from the main stadium. The course includes two 13 km laps in the heart of central Tokyo, including the Ginza.
