@pupilhands I'm working on a sequel, but it's taking a lot longer than the first game, which had the unfortunate benefit of a pandemic giving me a lot of free time. Inching closer every day though, thanks for playing =D

I am grateful for the indie dev community coming together to affect change in @unity's terrifying trajectory. I am cautiously optimistic about the recent changes they've announced, and I hope it is an indication that Unity is ready to work towards rebuilding trust.

We agree with EGDF's assessment and are shocked to see a long-term business partner exploit their position. While we evaluate what this means for Colossal Order in the long run, Cities: Skylines II will release on its current engine. egdf.eu/egdf-unitys-in…

@CM_Games @unity I mean, the CEO once said players should pay to reload their guns in Battlefield. In retrospect, we should have all seen something incalculably stupid like this coming.

Whether Unity backtracks or not, the fact that these decisions made it through leadership, legal, marketing and employees, says a lot about the organizational health of the company. As a partner, Unity is a source of unknown amount of risk. Making new games on it would be unwise

I also use it to prototype concepts quickly to easily communicate mechanics and systems that I need my team members to build. Amazing stuff all the way!

If we're gonna shoutout engines, I really wanna give props to @AshleyGullen's @ConstructTeam Engine. Amazing ease-of-use, and a great way to teach game design principles to my students without the heavy overhead of learning how to code.

The Unity board needs to call for resignations. Start with John Riccitiello and most of the exec team responsible for the design and communication of this atrocious idea. They are destroying Unity. Act swiftly. Only with heads on a spike will some semblance of trust be restored. #gamedev #unity3d #unity #madewithunity #indiedev #IndieGameDev

We want to acknowledge the confusion and frustration we heard after we announced our new runtime fee policy. We’d like to clarify some of your top questions and concerns: Who is impacted by this price increase: The price increase is very targeted. In fact, more than 90% of our

@CreativeChris1 Thanks for helping as much as you can Chris. I hope the powers that be realize what a big mistake they made and see fit to spare the entire Unity community (including their own employees) all this anguish by just going back to the drawing board on this whole debacle.
