When was the last time you observed a child and noticed how they approached things with such simplicity? Do you think your outlook in life would change if you approached life the same way?
@LindenmuthWendi Definitely. Now when my wife asks me to do something I don’t want to deal with, I just thrash around on the floor incoherently until she walks away. Works every time.
@LindenmuthWendi Yeah ... My bank account would be drained ...
@LindenmuthWendi When I took my son to preschool, I was often struck by how personalities of children emerge at very young ages and are distinct from each other. In my experience, children aren't simple. Looking back to childhood memories, they aren't nice either but actually kind of cruel.
@LindenmuthWendi I think we’d be closer to being natural human beings if we stop overthinking stupid shit.
@LindenmuthWendi We teach children more Whereas we should learn from children more. We’re sad, frustrated, low in energy; children look fresh, bubbling with energy and enthusiasm, cheerful. So who should learn from whom? We’ve messed up everything.
@LindenmuthWendi Yes I would be broke tomorrow and looking for some bushes to sleep behind.
@LindenmuthWendi I see it everyday! To me, it's purity. They let themselves be vulnerable and it's my greatest pleasure to welcome that sweet vulnerability and try to emulate it. Also, to help them explore and be unafraid of the challenges in life.
@LindenmuthWendi I do, because of my autistic son.
