Overall Serenity Island is good imo. The story had nice pacing and actually tied back to what we’ve seen. We got some nice info on the Abandoned District. I’ve just wanted shorter quests with some worldbuilding, and it gave me that. Unfortunate it dropped in this mess.

@tiger_snowy Yeah 🥲 it was an interesting little story. Whenever they get the game back on track I’d prefer smaller patches in between the big ones with these type of quests instead of a random dance party.

@cynicslytherin I finished the main quest of it but man was annoying at time because of the bugs. Then I was just mad at the end cause it could’ve been a good little update if they hadn’t added the rest last minute.

@GeorgeCuadros @_altean Here’s a guide for it! The reference points mean it happens when it’s 20:00 in that location, so for Europe, it would be when it’s 20:00 in Barcelona, Spain.

I don’t get why the Soiree is time gated for a single daily reward when it takes like one minute to do and doesn’t even need other players. If there were voting or real interaction I would understand, but that’s not the case, so what’s the point?

@_altean It goes by server time! You’ll need to check which server you’re on and the time zone it uses. For the America server, you can check Phoenix, AZ time, when it hits 20:00 there, that’s Soiree time. The official Discord also has a channel that converts all server times to your own.

@ChristellaXG @0sallia I guess the experience can vary a lot depending on the bugs 😭 Some days it’s fine, and other days everyone’s stuck in place and I can’t talk to anyone who’s not on my friend list. I’ve tried the public chat and got nothing back. Hopefully it’ll feel better once things are fixed.

@ChristellaXG @0sallia It’s a good idea, just bad execution imo. It feels like a quick solo mode feature instead of actual coop. There’s not much reason to engage with others, so most people don’t. I’d take a reaction system with stickers the walker can see instead of the useless bubbles.

@AzuraLuziere If you’re on coop mode other players can see who’s walking but the most that can be done is blow some bubbles around the area. There’s not much interaction and the public chat is bugged so a lot of people don’t know there’s one.

@PillowpupVT For me it starts at 11:00pm lol. I’d honestly rather have multiple 1 hour slots throughout the day instead of one 2 hour window, so I can pick whatever works best with my schedule. At least it’s not daily since the rewards are only for doing it 17 days throughout the patch.

@0sallia @Fashion_Barbie_ Yeah I agree with both of you. I think it’s a fun concept and it’d be great if they added maybe two more time slots throughout the day and way to actually make it more engaging. So far people walk and leave most of the time.

Im guessing this is a bug because it’d be stupid if it wasn’t. There’s a public chat that only shows up while you’re sitting down. It disappears if you’re standing. Super annoying, and l don’t know if others can see what’s sent while they’re running around playing.
