I estimate that if Greens had run a full slate in 2019, the Green parties (Scotland+England/Wales) would have won 1.1 million votes (3.4%), almost as many as in 2015. Lack of candidates really held them back. This time, they'll be standing everywhere.

@LeftieStats Don't forget that some of the green votes are tactical votes from other unite to remain pact voters
@LeftieStats Corbyn was still leader of Labour in 2019... Greens are the only true socialist credible option now, they must aim high in 2024, this must be their year!
@LeftieStats I do think they should hold back investment in constituencies with strong independents, which is what Corbyn and Abbott will be.
@LeftieStats The Greens ran in 472 constituencies in the 2019 general election and lost their deposits in 456 of them! Thats almost 97% of their candidates lost their deposits. Thats a whole lot of trees that could have been planted! 💋
@LeftieStats With Labour going to the right and the Tories imploding I wouldn't be surprised if the Greens got at least 1 1.5m
