@PunnenLFC11 He thinks he has a ton of time on his hands. Takes forever to move the ball, gets totally run over and pushed off the ball, and will default to passing backwards. EPL has passed him by, if Madrid can give us 60-70mill we can go and get Wharton.

@KylePagan_ You only need to look at your current situation. You’ve already invested a ton yet you’re no better than a Senegal / Norway / Japan. Davies is the best player out of NAmerica and that’s Canada. Scaling it won’t help, it’s already showing a lack of underlying talent / skill

@henrywinter You have no clue want DNA means. You can take an average Spanish player plonk him into national team and almost blindfolded he’ll know what to do in every situation. The team clicks and football flows. You’re too focused on individuals not realising he has no system to plug into

@AdamJoseph So people think the simple answer is “throw pace and attackers onto the pitch”. You obviously didn’t watch France vs Spain then. And realised that control and possession dominance can nullify pace easily. Yes Tuchel got his subs wrong but he barely ever had control of the game

@Mrjamieohara1 Hindsight yet again. Tuchel could have done a lot better there’s no argument there. But to sit and look at a 3rd place playoff, see some pace and goals and think hmmm YES THATS THE SOLUTION. Reduces knockout football coaching to a fifa game. You need balance and control too

@pythaginboots Yes they didn’t use it. But a counter relies on certain game states. Teams can just sit back or control the game from their end (OOP+IP), then a counter becomes a non repeatable tool (one of luck). It’s deadly only when low IQ teams let you use it / they don’t care for the result

@alex_crook Yeah it’s TOO LATE. There’s no way to anchor the analysis of this game. It’s like pre season friendlies some teams win all of them and look like world beaters and go on to be terrible. The opposite happens too - poor pre season , great season.

@talkSPORT Ok so still no straightforward answer. Is it a 6 or a 8, a lone 6 or a double pivot? Fitness, fatigue blahblah all the players are tired. Answer the question and point out what he really excels at in the 6. Now they’re talking about him being good as an attacker? Lost cause convo
