One of the worst days of my life was when I made the choice to terminate a pregnancy in the second trimester. The devastating truth is that we found out the fetus would not survive to full term, and that my life was at risk as well. At the time - I had the choice.
Everyone has their own story for seeking out this medical procedure and I empathize with anyone who’s been faced with this impossible decision. I am praying for all of us, that we can get through this challenging time and regain agency over our own bodies.
@LauraPrepon @usamabroad The Supreme Court sent this matter to be decided in each individual state by their citizens/legislatures as our Constitution requires. It should never have been a federal matter. This is basic American civics.
@LauraPrepon We're living in regression. Women are losing their rights, it's scary
@LauraPrepon All pro choice people in La, Tx Ms., Ark, Mo. VOTE..In November VOTE . A pro choice Governor WILL respect a womans right to choose what's best. Don't think Brown Vs Board of Education is safe.
@LauraPrepon One of the only scenarios where an abortion is justified.
@LauraPrepon you would still Have a choice because the law protects medically necessary abortions.
@LauraPrepon When, ever, does a male have ANY right to dictate choices a woman has over her own body? NEVER. EVER. NEVER.
@LauraPrepon For every one like you there are many others that don’t take protection and use the abortion every time for terminating pregnancy. Change in the law unfortunately hits those that abortion is essential to protect life.
@LauraPrepon I feel for you. My first baby had to be terminated at 23 weeks. After being in the hospital for 3 weeks. Severe pre-eclampsia. I was told both of us will not survive if I keep going. It was the toughest decision me and my husband had to make.
@LauraPrepon Sorry for your loss but the law makes provision for these instances. The problem is the 97% of abortions due to 'inconvenience' .
