Angles, knowing personnel & countless other factors go into it. There’s a reason why the coaching staff (maybe it’s just some) hand you packets breaking down opposition’s tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, etc. I understand the “go hoop” aspect, but the finer details separate…
One lie that has to get out of the hoop community is that being great at defense is simply effort No you actually have to be skilled at that too, there’s techniques and IQ component and all that

Some wonder why Cam Ward has stayed at Largo (or ever started there), but the Ward’s ties to Largo go back. Not only is father Rodney the head coach, after being a longtime assistant to Lew Howard, his mother is a former two-time state champion coach w/ the Lions, and now the AD.

Loyola Chicago has been killing it with their five-out offense recently. A little bit of old with the pop and slash and pin down slips, and a little bit of new with twist counters and inverted ball screens. Effective offense that’s a lot of fun to watch.
