It’s not surprising that Arizona reimplemented an 1864 law upholding abortion. Last year the state upheld an 1868 treaty that denied the Navajo Nation usage of ancient underground aquifers — on the tribe’s own land. Access to water AND Abortions are basic human rights. Agree?
Oh no no no! That is absolutely not ok!! Is there anyway to fight this now?? (Also very weird because one of my friends just wrote me who is Navajo & said “if you need a place to go during the Apocalypse come here” it’s very strange reading this, as that literally just happened last night.) Water is Life! To cut them off from aquifers on THEIR land is committing a crime. I’m sorry but it is true. I emailed with Michael Burry (Christian Bale played him in The Big Short) he said water will become more valuable than oil. Our earth is going through a transition to shake off evil done to her. Nature seeks balance & Nature’s Laws are immutable. We’re having desertification in multiple areas across the globe, which will cause drought which will cause famine. I spent 2020 researching America’s aquifers- clearly someone else was doing that too. This is not OK in anyway shape form. Can we get Petitions going? We should try to do is do this on the national level and introduce bill that would preserve water rights for all tribes. Tribal lands need to be sovereign! Their water needs to belong to them & the stewardship loophole needs filled.😡
@LakotaMan1 Voting in November has to signal a change! Everyone MUST vote blue straight down the ticket so we can restore a woman's right to choose and the Navajo Nation to be able to access water on THEIR land
@LakotaMan1 Let's hope Arizona voters get the ballot initiative in November to make their voices heard.
@LakotaMan1 Water access is a human right. Pretty obvious. Not abortion. Unless you think infanticide is also a human right.
@LakotaMan1 No. Abortion - is eugenics. Never forget that it was originally offered to prevent black people from being born.
