Ok, I’ll say it. People who use “bloodbath” in any context whatsoever have absolutely no business running for a political office that involves the public’s trust and well being. Who here agrees? 🖐🏾
@LakotaMan1 It’s like saying “if you don’t marry me now there will be a bloodbath” and then say to all the relatives “hahaha, just kidding” and then whisper “but you know it’s true” 🤷♀️
@LakotaMan1 Isnt is similar to saying "We absolutely slaughtered them this time" We don't hear much of the U.S news here in Scotland
@LakotaMan1 @MayoIsSpicyy You especially shouldn't use a word like that if you've previously glorified police violence, political violence, the use of martial law, military shooting citizens "in their legs," executions/hangings, labor and concentration camps, etc. Unless you totally meant it, and he did.
@LakotaMan1 I have come up with a solution. Every time they say “bloodbath” quote them with “fucking bloodbath” instead. If they feel offended, ask them which word offends them and why. Which of the two words think is literal and which isn’t
@LakotaMan1 Language that fuels division, hatred,'othering' for political purposes reveals a deep flaw in the purpose of those seeking office, and their moral position in leading others. It is very tempting to hate those you disagree with, but it is not a good foundation for governance
