Today is referred to as the #IdesOfMarch, a day associated with misfortune and doom, stemming from the assassination of Julius Caesar, who was betrayed by his own men. Which Star Trek character do you think felt the greatest betrayal?
@Ladieswhotrek Khan. Villain for sure, but Kirk did leave him to die on a remote planet.
@Ladieswhotrek I’m gonna flip the script - sort of - Ro Laren being betrayed by Picard. He gave her a lot of lip-service about doing the right thing but when it came time for her to stand with her people, he couldn’t fathom her choice. Picard betrayed the ideals he attempted to instill in Ro.
@Ladieswhotrek Since Picard/Ro was already said & since I just rewatched Discovery, I’ll say Michael when Ash tried to kill her and Georgiou when Michael mutinied (she got over it pretty quickly, but still)
@Ladieswhotrek I’m sure many will mention Sisko (Eddington) or Chakotay (Seska), but the best for me was O’Brien’s shock and dismay that his Bajoran aide Neela was working with Vedek Winn. In the Hands of the Prophets is a great episode of DS9.
@Ladieswhotrek Picard when Ro Laren joined the Maquis.
