VR must find its own way of using narrative, and filmmaking is not, as theatre wasn’t for film. My guess is that interactive Storyliving (gamified or not, with live actors or through IA) fits better for VR. Passive storytelling doesn’t seem right. protocol.com/cinematic-vr-f…

VR needs to step up in indie development. at least, don't ban / stop it! ( I'm looking at Oculus here ). Finding new genres and big hits, like Beat Saber was. Funding big titles like Medal of Honor is cool... but it doesn't seem like very useful money to advance VR forwards.
Really interesting to see AAA #VR games fail to out perform indie games, at what’s sure to be significantly higher budgets. Alyx is the exception. I’m grateful for them, because they are certainly helping to attract a wider audience to VR. Curious if this changes anytime soon.
