Conservatives, please don’t fall for this. This is a kitchen table issue. It’s 2026. Most Americans know and love people who are married to someone of the same sex. They are our friends and family, in real life. We will not vote against their marriages. 70% of Americans support gay marriage - even when their own religions do not officially support it. Americans believe in freedom, and in equal rights. Some of the people in this video feel strongly about this, and they are free to practice their religion, but this is not a theocracy. Obergefell was decided by the Supreme Court, and has the support of the people. The Respect for Marriage Act 2022 passed the House 258-169, and passed the Senate 61-39.
