@BBCWomansHour when it comes to anything Maternity- if you are self employed/freelance you get almost nothing, no maternity payments etc even though you pay into the system. Surely it is time this was changed!! Don’t ALL women, who have paid into the system, deserve the maternity payment just like other who are employed by someone else! Allowing them st spend precious time with their baby
