It's funny because Argentina have a trash claim to them and only care about them as much as they do because the brutal military dictatorship needed a foreign enemy to rally people around and getting their asses kicked was the proximate cause of said dictatorship's downfall.

@GemOfAmara If nothing else (and I love it and PSH in it and Cruise doing legit acting and that what the McGuffin is doesn't matter and the out of nowhere/twist resolution) it sets the foundation for the rest of the series. It's the movie that fully defines what MI is/became.
