The community of people facing #Alzheimers disease and related forms of #dementia is heterogeneous. We need support, care, solutions, and respect for all. Our community is a safe space for all. (image via @Mary1Kathy) #diversity #health #StrongerTogether #EndAlz
@LEAD_Coalition @Mary1Kathy Caretaking is seriously affecting my health. I must make some big changes for myself before it is too late. My husband had a stroke yesterday & it's just going to make things much more difficult.
@LEAD_Coalition @jerrieskid @Mary1Kathy I just saw your post for the first time, my mom has dementia. It's been about 11 yrs since she was 1st diagnosed and it's brutally hard, every day harder than the 1 before. No one really understands unless they've dealt with it, not friends, SOs, aides. I'm exhausted emotionally.
@LEAD_Coalition @Mary1Kathy My mother had Alzheimer’s. I appreciate all that you do to keep us informed. ❤️
@LEAD_Coalition @Mary1Kathy I am helping my sister care for her 90 year old husband with dementia. It has been ruff getting help for him. He served on the Essex aircraft carrier from 52 to 56. You would think there would be more help for our veterans.
@LEAD_Coalition @GinaCapozzoli @Mary1Kathy This is beautiful... I may borrow it! ❤️
