Mitch Barnhart's longtime No. 1 choice to replace John Calipari has already said no. Where does Kentucky go from here? Danny Hurley on Line 1? Billy Donovan on Line 2? And ... Rick Pitino on Line 3? theathletic.com/5408482/2024/0…
@KyleTucker_ATH I don’t understand why any self respecting Kentucky fan would want Rick back. Do you all not remember him leaving us high and dry? Then going to coach our rival? Then all the scandals that ensued? There are so many better, younger, cleaner options.
@KyleTucker_ATH What is the obsession with bringing Rick back? I get it when I see random fans saying it, but when the media starts fueling that, I don’t get it.
@KyleTucker_ATH Seriously, what is wrong with you??? Pitino?? I've been a Kentucky fan my whole life and I would throw all my stuff away if they even interview him. Luckily, Mitch has morals, Pitino has absolutely zero chance of happening.
@KyleTucker_ATH If it’s Pitino I’ll never watch another game and I’ve been watching since I was in my infant swing! He’s a slime ball.
@KyleTucker_ATH I have a little SEC bias, but I'd be totally fine with Buzz Williams, Chris Beard, Chris Jans, and maybe even Todd Golden.
@KyleTucker_ATH Nobody in their right mind wants Pitino after the scandals at Louisville. He shouldn't even be coaching.
@KyleTucker_ATH Pearl before Pitino. A LOOOONG list before Pitino.
